BOSTON – A former automotive mechanic has amended his complaint in a Massachusetts benzene exposure action in which he alleges that his work with a number of parts cleaning solvents led him to develop Myelodysplastic Syndrome.
In the Oct. 15 amended complaint filed in the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts, Ralph Girardi has added a claim of violation of M.G.L. c. 93A, which prohibits unfair or deceptive acts or practices in the conduct of trade or commerce pursuant to state and federal law.
