NEW ORLEANS –– Dow Chemical has filed a reply brief supporting its efforts to have a benzene suit transferred from one Louisiana federal court to another, saying that the plaintiffs have “mischaracterized” the issue.
In a July 8 reply brief filed in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District for Louisiana, Dow Chemical maintained that the correct venue is the Middle District of Louisiana, since the only alleged exposure occurred in Plaquemine, La.
