Louisiana Federal Court Holds Status Conference in Benzene Action; Schedules Trial for Aug. 2015

NEW ORLEANS –– The judge overseeing a benzene suit pending in federal court has issued a minute entry in which it details deadlines set at a recent status conference, including a request that the parties complete discovery by April 2015.

In the June 26 minute entry, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana also asked the parties serve witness and exhibit lists no later than March 6, 2015.

Motions in limine are due by July 2015 in anticipation of an Aug. 24, 2015, trial, the order stipulated.
