DETROIT –– Parties in a benzene case involving Safety-Kleen’s 105 Solvent product have been ordered to appear for voir dire on May 6 by a Michigan federal court, according to a recent notice.
The U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan issued the notice to appear on Feb. 12. Magistrate Judge Mark A. Randon is set to preside over the jury selection process.
The lawsuit was filed on behalf of Howard G. Hendrian, who was allegedly exposed to benzene-containing products while employed at Ford Motor Co. During the course of his employment, Hendrian cleaned automatic transmission …
