COLUMBIA, S.C. –– A South Carolina judge who recently began overseeing a benzene case has issued an amended scheduling order, mandating that fact discovery in the case be completed by June and the parties be ready for trial in September.

The Feb. 3 order from Judge Margaret B. Seymour of the U.S. District Court for the District of South Carolina did not give an indication as to whether she intends to retain jurisdiction over the claims.
