Steco Supports Motion to Strike Deposition; Says Benzene Plaintiffs Still Haven’t Identified Dates of Exposure

ST. LOUIS –– A benzene defendant has reiterated its position that a Missouri federal court should strike the plaintiffs’ fact witness list, saying that the plaintiffs still have not identified dates of exposure.

In the Dec. 2 reply brief, filed in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri, Steco says that the only timeframe disclosed is the “same 30-year timeframe vaguely alleged in the complaint.”

“Plaintiffs … do not have information as to when decedent was exposed to [Steco’s] Tap Magic Aluminum,” the reply brief states.
