South Carolina Benzene Plaintiffs Move to Amend Complaint, Seek to Clarify Allegations Against Defendant

COLUMBIA, S.C. –– Benzene plaintiffs have asked a federal court for permission to amend its complaint, saying that new details have arisen as to potential liability on the part of a parts washer defendant, Providence Environmental.

In the Nov. 20 motion, filed in the U.S. District Court for the District of South Carolina, the benzene plaintiffs maintain that they attempted to serve Providence Environmental with a lawsuit initially, but were unable to do so.
