GATX Seeks Dismissal, Says it Was Wrongfully Named as Defendant in Benzene Case

NEW ORLEANS –– GATX Corporation has moved to dismiss benzene claims asserted against it, saying that it has been wrongfully named as a defendant in the marine construction case.
In a supplemental motion to dismiss filed Nov. 18, defendant GATX Corp. argues that it became clear in a recently filed amended complaint that the plaintiffs intended to sue GATX Terminals Corporation, not GATX Corporation.
