PHILADELPHIA –– Sunoco Inc. (NYSE:SUN) has moved to compel a plaintiff to produce discovery in a Philadelphia benzene case, arguing that the recent deposition of the decedent’s widow revealed information that was not previously disclosed, including documents relating to past employments.
In an Aug. 20 motion filed in the Philadelphia County Court of Common Pleas, Sunoco also seeks access to the plaintiff’s hard drive, asserting it contains information as to when the plaintiff sought information regarding the alleged causes of her husband’s illness.
