Wisconsin Court Issues Scheduling Order in Benzene Case Recently Returned from 7th Circuit

MILWAUKEE, Wis. –– A Wisconsin federal court has issued a scheduling order in a benzene case that was recently returned to the court after the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 7th Circuit reversed a summary judgment award for Akzo Nobel Paints LLC.

In the Aug. 7 order, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin stated that it would revisit motions for summary judgment to the extent that they were not previously addressed and ordered the parties to submit briefs relating to in limine motions in March.
