Plaintiffs Oppose Motions to Dismiss Benzene Complaint, Say Lawsuit Identifies Factual Details about Relevant Products

ST. LOUIS –– Benzene plaintiffs have once again backed claims brought in their Missouri lawsuit, contending that the defense attacks –– including ones asserted by Sherwin-Williams Co. (NYSE:SHW) and WD-40 Co. (NASDAQ:WDFC) –– against the third amended complaint are unfounded.
In separate July 26 opposition briefs filed in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri, the plaintiffs say that their lawsuit sufficiently alleges what products the decedent encountered, the settings in which those encounters occurred, as well as the relevant time periods.
