NEW ORLEANS –– A plaintiff in a Louisiana benzene action has opposed a summary judgment motion filed by Valero Refining-Texas L.P. (NYSE:VLO), contending that he loaded and unloaded barges containing gasoline and benzene at facilities owned and operated by the defendant.

In an opposition brief filed May 28 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana, the plaintiffs maintain that their claims against Valero have been sufficiently pled.
