COLUMBIA, S.C. –– A benzene defendant involved in a discovery dispute has backed its motion to compel, arguing that its motion was timely since it was filed within 21 days of the last extension it allowed the plaintiffs.

In its May 22 reply brief filed with the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of South Carolina, defendant Winzer Corp. maintains that it has tried not to involve the court in the discovery dispute “through repeated amiable discourse with the Plaintiff’s lawyers.”
