Philadelphia Plaintiffs Continue to Oppose Defense Efforts to Apply Florida Law to Claims

PHILADELPHIA –– Plaintiffs in a Pennsylvania benzene case have filed further opposition to a defendant’s attempts to apply Florida law to the claims, arguing that there is no conflict between Florida and Pennsylvania law.
In the May 7 surreply filed in the Pennsylvania Court of Common Pleas for Philadelphia County, the plaintiffs maintain that the defendant has failed to “meet its burden in the choice of law analysis.”
