U.S. Steel Files Motion to Compel, Says Plaintiffs Have Failed to Set Deposition Dates

NEW ORLEANS –– U.S. Steel Corp. has filed another motion to compel in a Louisiana benzene complaint, contending that the plaintiffs have failed to provide deposition dates for their expert witnesses.

The defendant’s May 2 motion filed in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana is similar to one filed in another pending benzene action, in which U.S. Steel contended that they had been unable to solidify a time to question the doctors submitted as expert witnesses in O’Quain v.
