U.S. Steel Asks Court to Compel Benzene Plaintiffs to Provide Deposition Dates for Experts

NEW ORLEANS –– Benzene defendant U.S. Steel Corp. has asked a Louisiana federal court to compel plaintiffs to provide deposition dates for their experts, contending that they have been unable to solidify a time to question the doctors.

In the April 19 motion to compel filed in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana, the defendant ask the court to order the plaintiffs to provide deposition dates before May 17, so that they have adequate time to prepare admissibility challenges.
