Safety-Kleen Systems Inc. Settles Philadelphia Benzene Claims

PHILADELPHIA –– According to a recent praecipe filed in Philadelphia state court, plaintiffs in a benzene action have reached a settlement agreement with defendant Safety-Kleen Systems Inc. and Safety-Kleen Corp.

The one-page document entered March 25 in the Pennsylvania Court of Common Pleas dismisses the claims against Safety-Kleen –– which had been named in the complaint for its role in manufacturing parts cleaners –– with prejudice.
