Louisiana Court to Hear Arguments on Pretrial Motions in Benzene Case Scheduled for April Trial

NEW ORLEANS –– A Louisiana federal court scheduled to oversee a benzene trial in April has scheduled oral arguments for March 27 on several pretrial motions, including summary judgment motions from Chevron, Oil Insurance Ltd., Insco and the plaintiffs.
In a March 20 order, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana said that consider all other summary judgment and in limine motions –– which include several admissibility challenges –– on the briefs.
