MEMPHIS, Tenn. –– A Tennessee federal court has dismissed an insurance dispute filed by Travelers (NYSE:TRV) against benzene defendant W.M. Barr & Co., after the parties indicated that they had reached a settlement agreement.

In a one-page order entered March 8 by the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Tennessee, the court noted that a recent joint motion of vacatur had confirmed a settlement had been reached.

“As such, the court orders this case dismissed with prejudice,” the order states.
