NEW ORLEANS –– Having recently been served with a motion to compel, a benzene defendant has responded with its own motion for a protective order, arguing that the plaintiffs’ requests are overbroad.
On Feb. 25, Texaco Downstream Properties Inc. filed a motion for protective order in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana, asking the plaintiffs to narrow their requests and allow for additional time to respond to discovery.
