PHILADELPHIA –– A defendant named in a benzene-related Pennsylvania action has filed several motions to compel, arguing that its requests are not “overbroad and unduly burdensome,” as the plaintiff has suggested.
In a series of Jan. 17 motions to compel filed with the Pennsylvania Court of Common Pleas for Philadelphia County, defendant Winco Enterprises Inc., formerly known as Wynn Oil Co., asked the court to order the plaintiff to respond to a number of requests, including interrogatories relating to his alleged exposure.
