NEW ORLEANS –– Plaintiffs in a benzene lawsuit have filed a motion to compel ExxonMobil Oil Corp. (NYSE:XOM) to respond to requests for production, saying that so far the company has “asserted numerous objections, failed to provide adequate responses, and failed to produce a single document in response….”
In the Dec. 17 motion, filed in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana, the plaintiffs explain that despite efforts to inform defense counsel of the deficiencies and extend deadlines, the defendant still have not provided supplemental responses.
