Power Plant Worker Files Benzene Case Against Radiator Specialty

NEW ORLEANS –– A former power utility plant worker has filed a benzene complaint against Radiator Specialty, contending that his use of the defendant’s Liquid Wrench product caused him to develop multiple myeloma.

The complaint was filed Nov. 29 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana by Homer A. Lindsay, who contends that as an employee of the New Orleans Public Services Inc., a power utility plant, he was exposed to benzene-containing products.

Specifically, Lindsay used Radiator Specialty’s Liquid Wrench to perform maintenance, repairs, and installation of instruments, controls and piping for a number …
