Philadelphia Court Orders Plaintiffs to Respond to Discovery Requests

PHILADELPHIA –– A Philadelphia state court has issued an order compelling plaintiffs to comply with discovery requests from a defendant named in the benzene case.

In the Aug. 28 order, the Pennsylvania Court of Common Pleas for Philadelphia County ordered that the plaintiffs to respond to specific discovery requests within 14 days and further found that the plaintiffs owed the defendant $57.62 in sanctions for costs related to bringing the motion.
