LOS ANGELES –– A former print shop employee has reached settlement agreements with the remaining defendants in his acute myelogenous leukemia case, sources told HarrisMartin Publishing.
The settlement agreements in the benzene action come just weeks before a Sept. 10 trial date in the California Superior Court for Los Angeles County, according to court documents.
Bruce Sample filed the claims, contending that his work as a lithographic printer at D&K Printing for six years required him to work with a number of pressroom chemicals, some of which contained benzene. As a result of the exposure, Sample argued that he …
