Judge Continues April Trial Setting in Benzene Case Involving Exposure on Vessels

NEW ORLEANS -- A Louisiana federal judge has granted a joint motion to continue an April 16, 2012, trial date in a case brought by a former mechanic who claims he was exposed to benzene-containing products on a number of vessels. Authenment v. Ingram Barge Co., No. 10-02107 (E.D. La.).

The Jan. 3 order issued by the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana also continued discovery deadlines and said that new deadlines and trial date with be determined "later."
