Plaintiffs Get Extension to File Brief with U.S. Supreme Court in Causation Dispute

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- The U.S. Supreme Court has given plaintiffs involved in a benzene causation dispute until Nov. 14 to file their response brief backing a lower court's decision to reinstate their claims. U.S. Steel Corp., et al., v. Milward, et ux., No. 10A1263 (U.S. Sup. Ct.).
According to the high court's online docket, a number of parties -- including DRI - The Voice of the Defense Bar, the Chamber of Commerce of the United States of America and the Product Liability Advisory Council -- have all filed amicus curiae briefs as well.
