BEAUMONT, Texas -- Several defendants involved in an AML benzene case have removed the claims to federal court, citing complete diversity of citizenship, according to recent court documents. Jacobs, et al. v. The BF Goodrich Co., et al., No. 11-00395 (E.D. Texas).
In the notice of removal, filed Aug. 19 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, defendants BF Goodrich Co., Bayer Corp., and Lanxess Corp. note that they are organized under the laws of Delaware and Indiana, while their principal places of business are in North Carolina and Pittsburgh.
