Benzene Defendants Plan to Petition U.S. Supreme Court by Sept.

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Counsel for defendants on the losing end of a 1st Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals decision has told HarrisMartin that they intend to file a petition for writ of certiorari with the U.S. Supreme Court by September. U.S. Steel Corp., et al., v. Milward, et ux., No. 10A1263 (U.S. Sup. Ct.).

According to the high court's online docket, the defendant submitted an application on June 22 seeking to extend the time to file the petition from July to September.
