ATLANTA –– The U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit has denied a petition for rehearing filed by plaintiffs in a Camp Lejeune lawsuit, allowing a decision dismissing the case to stand. Jones v. United States of America, No. 11-13158 (11th Cir.).
In the one-page order issued June 8, the appellate court declined to have a second look at its decision to affirm a lower court’s opinion dismissing the case on grounds that the plaintiffs had failed to disclose prior bankruptcy proceedings.
