LOS ANGELES -- A defendant has asked a California trial court to order separate trials in a chemical case involving two plaintiffs who worked at the same bathtub installer, claiming that their place of employment is the end of the similarity between the claims. Franco, et al. v. Berry Plastics Corp., et al., No. BC405841 (Calif. Super. Ct., Los Angeles Cty.).
