Parties in Milward Ask Massachusetts Court to Push Back Deadlines

BOSTON –– Parties in a benzene action pending in Massachusetts have asked the federal court to postpone some upcoming case-related deadlines. Milward v. Acuity Specialty Products Group Inc., No. 1:07-11944 (D. Mass.).

On June 22, the plaintiffs filed an assented motion in the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts to extend specific discovery deadlines, asking that the expert deposition deadline be pushed to Sept. 30 and the deadline for filing dispositive motions bumped to Nov. 16.

According to the motion, Rust-Oleum Corp. and The Steco Corp. are left remaining as defendants in the case.
