NEW ORLEANS -- A recently filed benzene complaint has targeted the plaintiff's former employer and manufacturing defendant Radiator Specialty, saying that the executive officers of the company concealed dangers related to benzene exposure in an effort to avoid litigation. Patterson, et al. v. Radiator Specialty Co., et al., No. 10-02007 (E.D. La.).
The July 19 complaint was filed in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana on behalf of Edward C. Patterson, who worked at Witco Corp.'s Gretna, La., plant for various time periods ranging from 1966 to 2004.
