Parties Reach Resolution in Myelodysplastic Syndrome Case

ST. LOUIS -- Parties remaining in a Missouri benzene case have reached confidential settlement agreements, according to recent documents filed in federal court. Whitehead, et al. v. Baxter Healthcare Corp., et al., No. 08-421 (E.D. Mo.).

According to an order entered June 24 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri, the parties have reached agreements regarding the settlement of claims stated in the original complaint against the remaining defendants.

The remaining defendants are named as Ashland Inc., Baxter Healthcare Corp., Radiator Specialty Co. and Univar USA Inc.
