Neb. Parties Move to Dismiss Citgo with Prejudice from Benzene Complaints

LINCOLN, Neb. -- A number of benzene plaintiffs involved in two separate complaints have filed motions to dismiss defendant Citgo Petroleum Corp. with prejudice, according to recent docket entries. Hauptmeier, et al. v. Barton Solvents, No. 08-187; Peet v. Barton Solvents, et al., No. 09-03021 (D. Neb.).
In separate motions filed earlier this month in the U.S. District Court for the District of Nebraska, four sets of plaintiffs in two separate cases stated that the defendant has no objection to an order being entered in accordance with the motions.
