Calif. Parties Currently Deposing Experts in Advance of Evidentiary Hearings

LOS ANGELES -- Parties in a multiple myeloma case are currently deposing experts in preparation for California Evidence Code Section 402 evidentiary hearings scheduled for July 2010, sources told HarrisMartin. Sundquist, et al. v. BP West Coast Products Inc., et al., No. BC362023 (Calif. Super. Ct., Los Angeles Cty.).

Upon completion of the depositions, Judge Ann I. Jones of the Los Angeles County Superior Court will conduct a hearing that will address defense challenges to testimony linking exposure to the defendants' products to the plaintiff's illness.
