LOS ANGELES -- A California court has found expert testimony linking benzene exposure to multiple myeloma admissible in a case involving auto paint, sources told HarrisMartin. Sundquist, et al. v. BP West Coast Products Inc., et al., No. BC362023 (Calif. Super. Ct., Los Angeles Cty.).
The Los Angeles County Superior Court found that there were triable issues as to whether the plaintiff's illness was caused by the defendant's products and as to whether the defendants provided sufficient warnings on their products.
