WINSTON SALEM, N.C. -- A North Carolina state court has denied a benzene defendant's efforts to dismiss claims asserted against it on grounds that it was barred by the state's six-year statute of repose. Wolfe, et al. v. E.I. DuPont de Nemours and Co., et al., No. 07-3770 (N.C. Super. Ct., Forsyth Cty.).
In a two-page order entered Sept. 25, the North Carolina Superior Court for the County of Forsyth denied the defense motions for summary judgment.
