NEW ORLEANS -- In a series of reply briefs filed recently, the benzene plaintiffs in a Louisiana case maintain that the testimony of several benzene experts is unreliable and cannot be admitted under Daubert. Bishop, et al. v. Shell Oil Co., et al., No. 07-2832 (E.D. La.).
The replies were filed from July 6 to and urged the court to exclude the testimony of toxicologist/industrial hygienist Sheldon Rabinovitz; toxicologist David Pyatt; hematology expert Ethan Natelson; industrial hygienist John Spencer; and epidemiologist Kenneth Mundt.
