Benzene Plaintiff Opposes Dismissal of Maritime Product Liability Claims

HOUSTON -- A benzene plaintiff has asked a federal court to deny Radiator Specialty's attempts to dismiss claims asserted against it under general maritime law. Brown v. Shell Oil Co., et al., No. 08-00413 (S.D. Texas).

On June 15, the plaintiffs filed the response in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas additionally stating that it did not oppose the defendant's motion for summary judgment as to state law product liability claims arising under Louisiana and Texas law.
