HOUSTON -- A benzene plaintiff who claims to have been exposed at Shell facilities has filed an opposition supporting his general causation experts and their testimony, claiming that it passes admissibility standards. Brown v. Shell Oil Co., et al., No. 08-413 (S.D. Texas).
The June 15 opposition filed in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas was in response to motions made by Shell Oil Co. and Shell Chemical LP earlier this year that claimed plaintiff Ben N. Brown Sr. had failed to establish a valid medical causation theory.
