NEW ORLEANS -- Plaintiffs in a benzene action have sought the exclusion of several defense experts proffered to testify on toxicology, industrial hygiene, epidemiology and hematology. Bishop, et al. v. Shell Oil Co., et al., No. 07-2832 (E.D. La.).
In the series of briefs filed from May 29 to June 2 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana, the plaintiffs asked the court to exclude the testimony of epidemiologist Kenneth Mundt; hematology expert Ethan Natelson; toxicologist David Pyatt; toxicologist/industrial hygienist Sheldon Rabinovitz; and industrial hygienist John Spencer.
