NEW ORLEANS -- A defendant in Louisiana has removed a technologically enhanced radioactive material (TERM) case to federal court, citing the Class Action Fairness Act, according to a recent filing. Aucoin, et al. v. Exxon Mobil Corp., et al., No. 09-3690 (E.D. La.).

On May 29, Exxon Mobil Oil Corp. removed the claims to the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana, noting that in the second amended petition, two foreign corporations and 41 new plaintiffs were added to the action.
