Benzene Plaintiffs Back the General Causation Opinion of Dr. Martyn Smith

BOSTON -- Plaintiffs in a Massachusetts benzene action have filed a brief supporting the admissibility of one of their general causation experts, saying that the expert's opinion that benzene exposure is capable of causing Acute Promyelocytic Leukemia is reliable under Daubert.
