ORANGE, Texas -- Lyondell-Citgo Refining Co. has filed a voluntary petition for Chapter 11 bankruptcy, according to a recent notice posted in a pending benzene case. Bronowicz, et al. v. E.I. Du Pont de Nemours and Co., et al., No. A060502-AC (Texas 128th Jud. Dist. Ct., Orange Cty.).

In a suggestion of bankruptcy filed Jan. 13 in the 128th Judicial District Court for Orange County, Lyondell-Citgo Refining Company advised the court that it had filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York on Jan. 6.
