WILMINGTON, Del. -- The Delaware Supreme Court will hear arguments relating to the duty of a premises defendant in an asbestos case on Sept. 10, sources confirmed to HarrisMartin. Riedel v. ICI Americas Inc., No. 156, 2008 (Del. Sup. Ct.).

In a August 4 brief filed in the state's high court, the premises defendant urges the Supreme Court to uphold the award of summary judgment, claiming that the trial court correctly concluded that no legally significant relationship existed between the defendant and the plaintiff.
