Ohio Jury Awards $8 Million in Case Against Elliott Turbomachinery

CLEVELAND -- An Ohio jury has awarded $8 million to plaintiffs asserting claims on behalf of a former insulator, who allegedly developed mesothelioma as a result of exposure to asbestos in insulation used in turbines, valves and pumps. Fischer, et al. v. Armstrong International Inc., et al., No. 615514 (Ohio Ct. Comm. Pls., Cuyahoga Cty.).
