WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. -- A Florida appellate court has affirmed an award of summary judgment to two landowner defendants, saying the parties could not be held responsible for asbestos exposure that occurred as a result of an independent contractor's work. Johnson, et al. v. Boca Raton Community Hospital Inc., et al., No. 4D07-1153 (Fla. 4th Dist. Ct. App.).
