PHILADELPHIA -- A Pennsylvania court has affirmed an award of summary judgment to four asbestos defendants, ruling that the plaintiff failed to establish that the decedent was exposed to the defendants' products. Weible v. Brake and Clutch Co., et al., July Term, 2005; No. 3073 (Pa. 1st Jud. Ct. Comm. Pls., Philadelphia Cty.).

The First Judicial Court of Common Pleas for Philadelphia County said in the March 18 order that the plaintiffs testimony "lacked certainty and specificity" as to the amount of exposure and therefore did not satisfy the state's regular, frequent and proximate exposure test.
