PHILADELPHIA -- Saying that an asbestos plaintiff had failed to prove a defendant named in the personal injury action manufactured the insulation products with which he worked, a Pennsylvania court has affirmed summary judgment awarded to the insulation manufacturer. Koerper v. Brand Insulations Inc., et al., September Term, 2005, No. 1200 (Pa. Ct. Comm. Pls., 1st Jud. Dist. Ct.).
In the April 1 order, the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas ruled that since the plaintiff did not see the label on the insulation, his claims are unfounded.
